Is being a member of AAAT a requirement of Golden Chain?

No. It is no longer a requirement of membership. We do however conduct an inspection of your property from

time to time to ensure your property still meets the standards expected of Golden Chain properties.

What are the options for paying my fees?

As part of your membership agreement, you must pay via direct debit monthly in advance. We only accept this

option as it helps keep administrative costs down, which in turn helps keep membership fees down.

What to do when you are ready to sell or lease your motel?

Contact Head Office who will arrange for a transfer kit to be sent out.

YOU are still responsible for monthly fees until these forms are received at Head Office.

Have the new owners complete the transfer and direct debit form and return them to Head Office PRIOR to take over.

Please be aware the property is contracted to Golden Chain Motor Inns until the end of your membership year – 

either 31 March or 30 September
