bottom of your property page.

You can use the 'Forgot Password' option on the log in page ( https://bookings.goldenchain.com.au/Admin/Login ) or

you can call head office to have it reset.


 

  • How do I  find the credit card details of a booking

Log in to the Golden Chain website, Click on 'Guest Bookings' and find the booking in the list below. Click on the

confirmation number to show the full details of the booking and click 'Access Card Vault'. Use the same username

and password that you used for logging into the Golden Chain website.


 

  • How do I process the credit card details from a booking

Process the card according to your own policies. Each property is different. Treat it as you would a credit card number

given via a phone booking.


 

  • Does Golden Chain charge fees or  commission on bookings

No, Golden Chain does not process or handle any financial transactions relating to bookings or using the website.

It is free for all members.


 

  • Are bookings made on the Golden Chain website confirmed bookings

Yes, you are expected to honour any bookings made via the Golden Chain website.

 

  • Does the website integrate with any Channel Managers?

Yes, we currently integrate with RMS online, Siteminder and LEVART. We expect to link with Res Online soon.

We evaluate the need to integrate with different channel managers on an ongoing basis. We also integrate with

the Guespoint property management system (PMS).


 

  • Is the website 'Search Engine Optimised'

We have engaged the services of company who specialises in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). They have

been working with us to improve the websites position in Google search results.


 

  • Can I take bookings from my property's website using Golden Chain's website

Yes, it is a simple process for the administrator of your website to add a link to your listing on the Golden Chain

website.  Just contact head office for the link.


 

  • How do I change information in a green field in the property details section of the website

Just let head office know via email or phone what changes you wish to make and we will make them for you.

 


  • I received a booking that was for an amount less than advertised on the website

This is usually because the guest is a Gold Link Travel Club member and has logged in to the website to get the

discounted rate.  Check to see if the discrepancy equals 10%. If you are unsure please contact head office.


 

  • What does the "stop sell" button do under 'Rates and Inventory' in the website

When you tick this option, all rooms on all dates are removed from sale.
