The Lilydale Motor Inn is a family owned/operated motel accommodation on the eastern fringe of Melbourne in the suburb of Lilydale. We are superbly located within an hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD and just 15 minutes from Healesville and Yarra Glen where you will find the famous Yarra Valley Wineries. Access to the snowfields at Lake Mountain and Mt Donna Buang is under an hour and the stunning Dandenong Ranges are even closer. Also close to Swinburne University.

Lilydale Motor Inn has 45 motel units with eight interconnecting rooms and one disabled friendly unit. All of our rooms are extremely spacious and include queen size beds, air conditioning and heating, colour TV, direct dial telephone with tasteful furnishings and decor. Deluxe suites are available with twin spa bath plus chocolates and champagne on arrival.

An added bonus is the delightful fully licensed restaurant which provides an excellent a-la-carte menu from 6pm to 10:30pm as well as breakfast each morning between 7am and 9am. The surrounds include a relaxing beer garden, covered barbeque area, solar heated swimming pool, children's playground and landscaped gardens. Coach & group tours are welcome. Things to do in Lilydale:

While in the area visit the local Lilydale Lake where there is an 80-hectare recreational area offering canoeing, fishing, sailing and sailboarding. There are walking and cycling trails, boardwalks, beaches, picnic areas and wetlands. Or explore the Lilydale to Warburton rail trail which follows the route of the old railway line which was built in 1901 to relay local fruit, vegetables and timber to the Melbourne line.

Further afield you will find the Dandenong Ranges National Park which offers opportunities for walking, sightseeing, picnicking, nature observation and car touring.

Visit the Healesville Sanctuary to experience Australian wildlife in their natural habitat and further experience the surrounding countryside with a drive through the picturesque Yarra Valley where along with the bountiful vineyards, you can discover the area by hot air balloon.
