Garden Motor Inn, homestyle cooking in our licensed restaurantOpen nightly for guests only, we have a licensed restaurant serving a small selection of meals, with our roast lamb being a favourite of many. You might wish to add a local wine with labels like “Track Winding Back” and “Bidgeebong” arousing your imagination.

Followed by a good sleep, it may well be the birds that wake you before the arrival of your hearty, hot breakfast, if that’s how you like to start the day. Gundagai – Arguably Australia’s best known town. Etched in Australian history and verse. Think “The Dog on the Tuckerbox”. Think “Dad, Dave, Mabel and Mum”. They’re all here in Gundagai waiting for you. Just like Mabel waiting for Dave. Good old fashioned romance; you can feel it here.

We are confident that your experience with us will be a little different. A good experience we hope. Ours is not just another motel. Pause to take it all in. Take a deep breath or two. Gaze, eat, walk, sleep and don’t forget to smell the roses. Absorb a little piece of what is uniquely and traditionally Australian.
