The Jolly Swagman Motor Inn - Goondiwindi

The Jolly Swagman Motor Inn features modern guest facilities and is central to the town centre just 5 blocks away from all major attractions.

We have family rooms with a queen bed and a bunk bed for up to five people and two bedroom units, that will take six people with an extra bed added. We also have spa units and very spacious deluxe spa units.

All units at the Jolly Swagman Motor Inn are on the ground floor. Our leisure facilities include a resort style pool, spa and sauna as well as a half size tennis court.

The Jolly Swagman is also an ideal venue for conferences for up to 60 persons. Ample under cover parking is available and special room tariffs apply. Things to see and do in Goondiwindi

Goondiwindi is a modern and vibrant place, and yet still retains the stylish simplicity of a traditional country town. The town boasts tree-lined streets, well kept gardens and the Macintyre River, whose beauty is one of the town's greatest assets.

Check out Goondiwindi's Water Ski Park, opened in 2004, a popular meeting place on a hot day for both families and water skiers alike. Walk through the natural flora and fauna at the Botanic Gardens and the Western Woodlands or discover come history about our major local industries by visiting the wheat silos and cotton gins.

Heritage sites include the Customs House Museum and Martha's Cottage which was a border customs point before Federation. This authentically restored building which was built in 1850 has a magnificent cottage garden and a rich and colourful collection of mementos of yesteryear. You can also view the Gunsynd Statue near the old Border Bridge on the McIntyre River (Gunsynd was identified in 2004 as one of Queenslands Top Twelve Icons). 

Explore the surrounding area and enjoy a pleasant drive to the Historic Kurrumbul Homestead, whilst considering refreshments at the legendary Nindigully Pub. An investigation of the Aboriginal Rock Wells at Weengallon should not be missed and a short drive will take you to Glenlyon, Pindari and Coolmunda Dams and the MacIntyre Falls and caves, east of Yetman.
