Bluewater Harbour Motel offers 19 rooms close to Bowen's Centre opposite parkland and a short walk from Bowen's beautiful Front Beach and Harbour.

The Bluewater Harbour Motel is brand new (opened in June 2008) and yet to be rated. This modern accommodation is designed to give you a most comfortable and relaxing stay. We provide all ground floor units with generous room sizes. All rooms are equipped with Queens Sized Beds and Long Singles, wall mounted flat screen TVs with nine popular channels of free Austar entertainment and super silent split system air-conditioning to all rooms with ceiling fans. Tea and coffee facilities are available in all rooms with room service for all meals. Self-contained apartments are available in 1 and 2 bedroom configurations with washing and drying facilities free of charge. We also have a dedicated Disabled unit available for guests with special needs.

The Bluewater Harbour Motel features a 12 metre saltwater pool guaranteed to be a load of fun for the kids. This modern Corporate style motel has high speed Internet hard wired to all rooms. All car parking is undercover and we provide parking for boats and trailers (we are only 500 metres to the main Marina boat ramp).

Swimming and snorkeling from the superb shoreline of Horseshoe Bay where you can explore our fringing reef with its many types of Tropical Fish. Miles of unspoiled beaches and parkland walking tracks await you.

Bowen is a sea food lovers delight were prawns and reef fish are always available at reasonable prices from Arabon Sea foods, only 500 metres from the property.

Finding Us

Bowen is situated in the northern section of the Whitsundays and is a comfortable 40-minute drive from Airlie Beach and Whitsunday Resort Islands.

Flight access to Bowen is via the major airports of Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine), or Mackay and Townsville Airports which are a 2 hour drive from Bowen. Train Services into Bowen are excellent, with Queensland Rail's Tilt Train providing regular connections. And the coach services connect daily, and provide north and southbound services.
