Our intimate conference facilities at the McLaren Vale Motel can accommodate up to 25 guests with tastefully appointed facilities overlooking the swimming pool and boasting views to the gentle vine covered slopes beyond. Our all weather pergola and barbeque area, is a popular place for lunch.

During October 2006 at the Golden Chain Annual Conference, McLaren Vale Motel Motel was awarded the Best Golden Chain Motel in South Australia followed by the Best Golden Chain Motel in Australia.

Things to See and Do in McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula Region

McLaren Vale is where the vines meet the sea, and only 39 kilometres south of Adelaide. The region enjoys a Mediterranean climate which is ideal for the production of the world class wines that are made here.

McLaren Vale is recognized as one of Australia's premium grape growing regions containing many wineries with cellar door sales. Some of the Wineries include: Hardy's Tintara, d'Arenberg, Seaview, Chapel Hill, Fox Creek Wines and Rosemont Estate.

The Mclaren Vale Motel is ideally situated as a base for visiting the local wineries and or enjoying the beaches whilst touring the Fleurieu Peninsula. The Fleurieu Peninsula is a 'coathanger' shaped strip of land bounded by water forming one of Australia's largest freshwater recreation regions.
