Parsons Bay Retreat is ideally situated in the commercial centre of the Tasman Peninsula just over an hour's drive southeast of Hobart and within easy reach of the areas many activities and attractions.

Parsons Bay Retreat, formerly Fairway Resort, offers a choice of accommodation from fully serviced motel units, studio apartments as well as two and three bedroom fully self-contained apartments for families.

The Retreat provides excellent facilities including its own chip and putt golf course, indoor heated swimming pool, spa and half-tennis courts. With the calm White Beach close by nestled in the pristine arc of Wedge Bay and the contrasting Roaring Beach just further along the coast. Nubeena is a haven for fishermen and surfers alike who are drawn to the consistently good and challenging waves at Roaring Beach as well as the popular fishing and swimming spot of White Beach. Roaring Beach is backed by a coastal reserve which offers spectacular views over Storm Bay. Cape Raoul State Reserve, to the south of town, offers a cliff walk along Shipstern Bluff then on to Tunnel Bay, a natural rock tunnel created by water erosion.

Nubeena is within easy travelling distance to the Port Arthur Historic Site, Saltwater River Coal Mines, Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park at Taranna and all the natural features of Pirates Bay at Eaglehawk Neck, the entrance to the peninsula.
