Things to do in Busselton WA:

The famous Busselton Jetty originally built of jarrah, was started in 1853. It is nearly 2 km long and remains one of the longest in the world. Used by fishermen and holidaymakers the jetty provides a pleasant walk with the sea breezes offering relief on a hot summers day. "Australia's first underwater observatory" is now open for viewing. It is one of Western Australia's most popular eco-tourism icons and descends 8m below sea level. It has four viewing platforms and a lift down to the bottom level for visitors in wheelchairs.

The Margaret River Wine Region is only twenty minutes away from Busselton, with a majority of the main vineyards remaining within the Shire of Busselton. Escape to the Margaret River Cheese Company, a boutique cheese and yogurt manufacturer.

Whale watching as a season runs from June to December. Hump Back & Southern Right Whales can be seen off the cape naturalist coastline on their annual migration. Without needing to be an expert at fishing in the region, this area provides you everything from quiet fishing spots to idyllic beaches.
