Top Tips when visiting:

If you are on the Gold Coast for at least a few days, consider purchasing a combo pass such as the 2 Day Ticket or 3 Day Super Pass Ticket to get the most value where you can visit more than one theme park on two or three consecutive days. There are also super, mega and VIP passes for unlimited entry for up to 12 months if you plan to visit the Gold Coast several times.

Do not go on rides with high speeds or heights if you feel very afraid. It’s one thing to face your fears, but if you feel overwhelmingly scared, it’s best not to go on the ride. The same goes if you suffer any medical or heart conditions. It’s best to avoid thrilling rides altogether and stick to the rides which are milder pace. Feel free to ask the staff on certain speeds and express any concern before going on the ride.

If you are a daredevil and love the adrenaline pumping rides, make sure you have not eaten any big meals beforehand to avoid feeling sick and extremely uncomfortable during the ride. Avoid overeating of spicy and greasy food and opt for smaller meals.

Just like with any travels, be sure to plan your journey. Create an itinerary of the theme parks to visit, what rides and attractions you will go to, times of any shows, transport and make a budget of what you’ll be spending on tickets, food, etc. This will help your holiday to be that much smoother and organised. Also set a meeting place at each theme park you go to in case you get separated.

Always wear comfortable shoes when going to theme parks as you’ll most likely be on your feet a lot throughout the day. Also wear sunscreen and drink lots of water to keep up energy levels.
